Program for the 2nd IESO Conference
Theme: Screening and Assessing Gifted Students in Earth Science in International Perspective
Venue: Chosun University, Kwangju Metropolitan Area, Korea
Date: April 12th~13th, 2007
(April 13th ~ 14th, Annual Meeting of Korean Earth Science Society)
Aim: 2nd IESO Conference will be a valuable opportunity to discuss and decide foundational and important aspects of 1st IESO which will be held in October 2007. Practical aspects of IESO, including the structure and administration of IESO, will be discussed with international perspectives and reached a consensus as a workable blueprint. In this process, theoretical aspects of traditional and alternative assessments in Earth science will be introduced, discussed, adapted and incorporated into the 1st IESO.
